In the system, you can select the drive-in pick-up delivery method when setting up a FlexyMenu shop.
This allows customers to order takeaway for pick-up by entering a license plate number, and the food will then be delivered to the parking spot.
The feature is available from version 24.2 and onward.
Setup
You can add the feature when creating a new shop or add it to an existing one.
Step 1:
Click on the menu page for FlexyMenu (no. 1).
Click on Stores (no. 2).
Step 2:
Create or edit a shop
Under Delivery Methods, select how the customer should pay:
Cash payment - Pay upon pickup
Online payment - Pay when the order is placed
Result
The customer will now have the option to choose 'Delivery directly to the car' as a pickup method.
It looks like this:
Click on Delivery directly to the car (no. 1).
This will take you to another window. The customer can enter their license plate here.
It will be displayed on the customer's order.
