In the system, you can create an area.
This can be used in relation to opening hours, where you have the option to set different opening hours for different areas.
This can be relevant if one of the areas in your business opens or closes earlier/later than other areas.
Steps to Create an Area
Step 1:
Click Setup, and then click FlexyBox Administration.
Click Basic Setup, and then click Areas.
Step 2: A new window will open.
Click Add (no. 1).
A new window will appear. Enter the name of the area (no. 2). In the example, it is The Pub.
Specify the Parent Area (no. 3) if the area should be linked to an existing one. This can be relevant if both areas share the same opening hours, as you will not need to configure opening hours for both separately.
Select the Department (no. 4) if you have multiple departments to choose from.
Decide whether the area should be visible to customers (no. 5).
Click OK (no. 6).
Step 3:
You can now go to Opening Hours (click Basic Setup (no. 7), and then click Opening Hours (no. 8)) and see the area you have just created (no. 9).
