In FlexyPos, you can create a rule that allows you to add an item to a reservation.
This feature enables the system to automatically add certain items to specific reservations. For example, it could be a rule that adds a fee if the customer makes a reservation with a specific item on Wednesdays.
The calculation occurs before the reservation is created, and the customer will be able to see it before confirming the reservation.
You can use any filters you desire. For instance, the item could only be applied to bookings where a specific item has been reserved, for a certain date, and where the booking has been made at a specific time.
The booking rule can also be used to give a discount by having an item number with a negative amount. Here, you can also use Add Discount if you want to provide percentages or change the price of an item.

How to create the booking rule - Add item
Step 1:
Click on Settings, then click on FlexyBox Administration.
Click on Booking Setup, and then click on Booking Rules.
Step 2: A new window will open.
Click on Create New (no. 1).
Step 3: A new window will open.
In the following, we will use the example of a fee on Wednesdays.
Enter the name of the booking rule (no. 2). In this example: Fee Wednesday.
Click the green plus under Filters (no. 3).
Click on Is reserved for a specific date (no. 4).
Click on Continue (no. 5).
Step 4: A new window will open.
Select Reservation date and days (no. 6). In this example, it is Wednesday.
Click on Save.
Step 5: The filter is now created (no. 7).
Click the green plus under Action (no. 8).
A new window will open. Click on Add item (no. 9).
Click on Continue (no. 10).
Step 6: A new window will open.
Here, you can add or modify the action.
Click on the three dots next to Select item (no. 11) and choose an item.
Specify the quantity of the item to be added to the reservation under Fixed quantity (no. 12).
Click on the three dots next to Dynamic quantity (no. 13) and select an item.
Info: Dynamic quantity allows you to add an item based on the number of dynamic items. If this feature is used, the Fixed quantity function will be ignored (no. 12).
Click on Save.
Step 7: The action is now created (no. 14).
The booking rule should now look like the example shown below. This booking rule adds a fee to reservations with selected items on Wednesdays.
Click on Save changes. You have now added the booking rule.
